Alpha - St John's & King's Park Parish church, Dalkeith - the course proper starts at 20, Park Road, Eskbank on Monday 28th September and runs for the following 10 Monday evenings. For more information, e-mail Margaret Mitchell via: newbattle.focus@btopenworld.com

Alpha - Gorebridge Parish church - the 10-week Alpha Course itself begins on Thursday 1st October - 7.00 pm in Gorebridge Parish church hall. For more information, e-mail Alastair Dunlop via: newbattle.focus@btopenworld.com
           
It doesn't matter where in Mid or East Lothian you live or work, you will be made very welcome at either venue. Each session begins with a meal or refreshments - a chance to get to know others in the small group. There is then a short talk, which looks at a different aspect of the Christian faith each week.This is followed by a time of discussion in the small groups, where everyone is welcome to contribute their opinion, ask questions and discuss with the rest of the group. The emphasis is upon exploration and discovery in a relaxed and informal environment. It's free of charge.

Holiday Club Party 2009       Showstoppers Reunion  
We had such a great time this summer with our Showstoppers Holiday Club. So we have organised a reunion party for P2 to P7 children!

It's on Saturday 14th November - Mayfield/Easthouses church hall from 9.30 am to 1.00 pm. Video, music, crafts, games, quizzes and refreshments with a Christmas theme.
No pre-registration, but we need contact info. If children have not come to any of our clubs before, please email their contact details beforehand to Paul at: newbattle.focus@btopenworld.com And yes, of course, it's free!
